Deere to reduce production

Deere & Co. signaled plans to curb expenses as the U.S.-China trade war eats into its profits.

The company plans to reduce production by 20% at its Illinois and Iowa plants through the remainder of the year.

The cuts, which will impact large tractor production, are expected to result in $25 million in savings.
