Deere sales decline

Deere & Co., the world's biggest seller of tractors and harvesting combines, posted revenue of $5.5 billion in the fourth quarter, compared to $6.4 billion a year earlier.

Earnings for the quarter came in at $254.4 million, down from $386.8 million in the same quarter of 2014.

For the year, sales dropped 13 percent, worse than the 11 percent Deere had predicted.
