Decorize pushes plan to keep AMEX listing

Posted online
American Stock Exchange has accepted Springfield-based Decorize Inc.’s plan to comply with continued listing standards.

In October, Decorize was notified that it no longer complied with Section 1003(a)(i) of AMEX’s company guide. The noncompliance arose from losses from operations and/or net losses in two of its three most recent fiscal years and a failure to maintain at least $2 million in stockholder’s equity.

Decorize was given the opportunity to submit a plan of compliance to AMEX, and on Dec. 16, AMEX told the company it has until March 29, 2007, to regain compliance for the continuing listing standards.

Failure to follow through with the plan or to regain compliance by the deadline could result in Decorize being delisted from AMEX.

Decorize was founded in 2000 and specializes in providing home furnishing supplies from the Far East. Some of the company’s 3,000 retail accounts include La-Z-Boy, Hancock Fabrics, Neiman Marcus and Sears.
