Decorize named award finalist

Springfield's Decorize Inc. has been nominated in the "Rising Star" category by the Accessories Resource Team Inc., an industry association for the home accents and accessory category of the home furnishings market.

Businesses considered for this award must be in operation three years or less and demonstrate excellence in product design, sales and delivery of home accents and accessories, according to a company press release.

The winners will be announced at the 14th annual ARTS Awards to be held in January 2003 at the International Market in Dallas.

The award announcement came on the heels of a July 9 sales order in excess of $1 million for products from the company's FaithWalk and Decorize.com brands.

The majority of this revenue is expected to be included in the company's first quarter, which begins July 1, with the remainder included in the following quarter, the release said.
