A federal deadline is about a month out for Missouri's Medicaid program.
A plan approved last month by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requires Missouri to get the program's wait list down to 45 days by Sept. 30.
Kim Evans, director of the state’s Family Support Division, said it's now “about 90 days, 85 days."
