A deadline is rapidly approaching for Missouri's new plain packaging requirements in the marijuana industry.
Packaging with limited colors and frills will be the new requirement in an effort to make the products less appealing to children.
The deadline is Sept. 1, and companies have until Nov. 1 to sell noncompliant products they already have in the store.

Why are we not doing this with alcohol products colorful packing promoting fruit and candy flavors? Spiked Mountain Dew? Spiked Minute Maid? Sounds like a really big and stupid double standard to me.
