Darwin manuscript page sells for $250K

A handwritten manuscript page from Charles Darwin's "On the Origin of Species" sold yesterday in New York for $250,000.

Sotheby's auctioned the 270th page from the 1858 manuscript.

The buyer was Stephan Loewentheil, the president and founder of the 19th Century Rare Book & Photograph Shop.
