There were more than 100,000 new coronavirus cases in a single day for the first time in the United States.
New cames came to roughly 102,800 yesterday, beating the previous record of over 99,000 set Oct. 30, according to Johns Hopkins University data.
The latest count brings total confirmed cases in the United States to nearly 9.5 million amid the pandemic.
