CVS to buy Target's pharmacy, clinic businesses for $1.9B

Drugstore operator CVS Health Corp. has agreed to purchase Target Corp.'s pharmacy and clinic businesses for about $1.9 billion.

CVS announced it would buy over 1,660 Target pharmacies in 47 states.

The company then would operate them through a store-within-a-store format.
