CVS cuts cost for generic EpiPen competitor

CVS is nearly cutting in half the price on a generic version of a competitor to the EpiPen allergy treatment.

The drugstore chain announced yesterday it would sell Impax Laboratories' Adrenaclick treatment for $110 per two-pack. That's down from $200 currently.

Mylan created controversy when it raised the price to more than $600 for an EpiPen two-pack. The company later announced plans to sell a generic version for $300.
