The seventh edition of the Ozarks Tap and Pour Craft Beverage Tour will be the last, the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau Inc. announced this week.
The farewell tour of the tourism initiative started June 1, according to a CVB news release. Ozarks Tap and Pour, a self-guided program in which participants can earn prizes for checking in at area breweries, distilleries and wineries, started in 2018.
Megan Buchbinder, director of marketing for the CVB, said via email that ending the tour after this year would allow the team to work on new initiatives.
"It's been a program that's been really fun and successful and as our job is to ensure we are forever evolving and growing, we thought we'd sunset this trail and work on creating something new," she said.
The participating businesses in this year's Ozarks Tap and Pour tour are:
● 7C's Winery LLC
● Banter Brewing Co. LLC
● Bear Creek Wine Co.
● Before and After Brewing LLC
