Customers satisfied with banks despite higher fees

The American Customer Satisfaction Index reports banks are charging higher fees for services overall, but customers are remaining satisfied.

The survey of more than 5,000 consumers nationwide also shows higher satisfaction ratings for community banks and credit unions over big banks.

Customer satisfaction with financial services in general has returned to pre-recession levels, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
