An independent panel of five judges selected the 40 from about 100 applicants. Judges were Julie Vanvig of Journal Broadcasting; Rhonda Burks of Murney Associates; Kyle McClure of City Utilities; and Aaron Jernigan of The Signature Bank.

The 40 will be honored at a special event at 6 p.m. May 18 at Oasis Inn & Convention Center. Tickets are $29 and can be purchased online or by calling Diana Weber at (417) 831-3238.[[In-content Ad]]
