Curb Appeal: Listings climb in March

High-end home listings in Springfield jumped in March, according to Southern Missouri Regional MLS.

For the monthly editorial series Curb Appeal, Springfield Business Journal compiled a list of 23 single-family properties within city limits that have an asking price of $750,000 or more. That compares with 19 in February and eight in January.

Combined, the owners of the properties are seeking $25.9 million in asking prices.

A home listed for $4.5 million was the highest-priced residence of the month. Located at 5147 S. Farm Road 181, the property spans 10,477 square feet, including a guest residence.

The average sale price in the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors' coverage area comprising Greene, Christian and Webster counties was $316,768 in February, the latest month of data available. That's up from $304,251 in February 2025.

Missouri Realtors data shows a February average sale price of $320,939, a 9.1% increase from a year earlier.
