Curb Appeal: High-end home listings spike in August

High-dollar home listings in Springfield shot up in August after a dip in July, according to data from the Southern Missouri Regional MLS.

For the monthly editorial series Curb Appeal, Springfield Business Journal compiled a list of single-family homes listed last month within city limits with an asking price of $500,000 or more.

Real estate firms listed 21 homes last month, up from 12 in July and 17 in June.

Combined, the homeowners for the residences listed in August are seeking $14.6 million. Top of the list is an east Springfield home built in 2017 that's seeking $1.1 million, according to the MLS.
