The unions covering culinary and bartender workers in Las Vegas have voted to strike.
The Culinary Workers Union Local 226 and Bartenders Union Local 165 represent some 60,000 workers in Las Vegas and Reno. The latter city is not involved in the strike authorization vote.
The unions are seeking better pay, a reduced workload and other measures.
