Cuisinart issues massive recall of food processors

Cuisinart owner Conair is replacing 8 million blades used in its food processors after 30 people reported mouth lacerations or tooth injuries after eating food that had fragments of metal caused by cracking in the blades.

The recall covers riveted blades made in China for machines sold July 1996 through December 2015. Their prices were $100-$350.

Customers are encouraged to stop using their Cuisinart machines and return them.
