Cuba Middle School – Cuba, Mo.

Gary Barbee, partner and architect with Sam A. Winn & Associates, Architects PC, is the architect for additions and alterations to existing elementary and middle school facilities for the Crawford County R-II School District in Cuba, Mo. HBH Engineers Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer, and Westward Construction of Sullivan is the general contractor. Cecily Laney of Sam A. Winn & Associates, Architects PC is the interior designer. The project, which has an estimated cost of $4.5 million, includes 19,000 square feet of added space and interior renovations. The elementary school addition will accommodate second-grade students and provide a new media resource center, kitchen, cafeteria and commons area. The middle school addition will house seventh-grade students and provide new administrative offices. The estimated completion date is Aug. 11.
