Credit cards hacked at Kmart stores

Hackers hit Kmart stores for the second time in three years.

Owner Sears Holdings Corp. said no personal information, such as Social Security numbers, were stolen in the attack.

"Once aware of the new malicious code, we quickly removed it and contained the event. We are confident that our customers can safely use their credit and debit cards in our retail stores," said Gareth Glynne, senior vice president of retail operations for Sears and Kmart.
