CoxHealth receives $98K for children's medical supplies

Posted online
Children’s Miracle Network at CoxHealth awarded the Springfield health care provider over $98,000 to purchase children’s medical supplies.

The recent funding injection went toward a specialized neonatal isolet - which has a built-in ventilator, cardiac monitor and warmer for a temperature-controlled environment for babies traveling in ambulances - and 28 pediatric equipment bags holding items needed for treating young, small patients, according to a news release.

“This allows us the ability to keep up with the advancement of technology and give our teams the most up-to-date equipment available to take care of babies while transporting them to the hospital,” CoxHealth Emergency Medical Services supervisor Ryan Verch said in the release.[[In-content Ad]]
