A CoxHealth administrator was recognized with an annual award by the Missouri Association for Healthcare Quality.
Arlo Stallion, the Springfield health system's administrative director of quality, was presented the association's Missouri Quality Health Care Professional Award on Nov. 8 during the Missouri Hospital Association's 90th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Osage Beach, according to a news release.
The award is presented annually to recognize quality management professionals for their accomplishments and contributions.
At CoxHealth, Stallion is tasked with directing quality programs, as well as planning, coordinating and monitoring clinical care.
“Arlo’s leadership in quality improvement at CoxHealth has been immeasurable,” CoxHealth President and CEO Steve Edwards said in the release. “She is an important voice in helping CoxHealth meet its mission of providing 'the best for those who need us’ and is active at all levels of care and management - from the board of trustees to the patient’s bedside.”
The Missouri Association for Healthcare Quality is affiliated with the Missouri Hospital Association via a partnership affiliation. The nonprofit hospital association represents 154 Missouri hospitals in Jefferson City, according to the release.[[In-content Ad]]
