While primary care is still scheduled 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, the clinic also is offering walk-in services during extended hours. The clinic is open 8 a.m.–9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Services during the extended hours include treatment of acute conditions such as colds, flu and strep throat; physicals, on-site laboratory and EKG testing; and X-ray services.
“We are working hand-in-hand with the community to provide the level of health care they need and have come to expect from CoxHealth,” said Tom Luthy, administrative director of CoxHealth Regional Clinics, in the release.
The Lebanon clinic opened in 1999 and had more than 9,000 patient visits in 2007, the release said. In addition to primary care and the extended hours, patients also can utilize CoxHealth physicians who provide monthly cardiology, obstetric and orthopedic care. Physical therapy also is available five days a week at the site.
Doug Russell, president of The Durham Co. in Lebanon, said the clinic is an asset to his more than 300 employees and their families who use CoxHealth physicians.
“This recent extension of services and hours allows greater access to the clinic’s quality care, and it provides added convenience while helping control health care costs,” Russell said in the release.
