According to a CoxHealth news release, new hours at Cox Walnut Lawn Urgent Care are 7 a.m.–10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.–8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Urgent care at Cox Walnut Lawn, located at South National Avenue and Walnut Lawn Street, will be open 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, but closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Cox Health also offers around-the-clock acute urgent care services at Cox North at North Robberson Avenue and Division Street, and pediatric urgent care exclusively for children ages 16 years and younger, 2 p.m.–10 p.m. Monday through Friday at The Turner Center for Women’s and Children’s Services, 1000 E. Primrose.
For life-threatening illness or injuries, such as chest pain or pressure, severe bleeding or trauma, CoxHealth provides emergency and trauma services 24 hours a day at Cox South, 3801 S. National Ave.
