The Missouri Western District Court of Appeals ruled that a revised summary must be put in place for the elimination of the state income tax.
The final day to make changes for the primary ballot is Tuesday. The Missouri Supreme Court may hear an appeal.
The revised summary must make sure voters know they are giving the green light for lawmakers to impose new sales taxes without current constitutional restrictions, according to the Missouri Independent.
