A couple is facing criminal charges for allegedly defrauding investors to the tune of $28 million.
Curtiss Jackson, 69, and Jamey Jackson, 59, respectively Semisub’s CEO and president, are accused of making false claims about building a watercraft that could partially submerge to give passengers underwater views, USA Today reports.
The Jacksons allegedly used a large portion of the investment funds for personal expenses, such as luxury homes in Hawaii and California.
