Young, 59, was elections coordinator since 1997, according to a county news release.
“We have lost a loyal colleague, a close friend and a cherished member of our office family,” Greene County Clerk Richard Struckhoff said in the release. “Betty’s long and dedicated service in the Greene County clerk’s office was exemplary. Words can’t express how much we will all miss her.”
