County budget officer joins Phoenix Home Care

Jeff Reinold, a longtime employee for Greene County, joined Phoenix Home Care Inc. as its director of accounting, effective Aug. 10.

Reinold spent the last 13 years as budget officer for Greene County and has 20 years experience in governmental accounting, according to a news release.

At Phoenix Home Care, Reinold is charged with refining and developing accounting systems to support and sustain the growth of the company.

“Phoenix is privileged and blessed to have someone of Jeff’s extensive history and experience in accounting and financial management. Jeff will globally lead our accounting oversight in the six major markets that Phoenix Home Care has operations," co-owner and President Phil Melugin said in the release, pointing to offices in Springfield, Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbia, Poplar Bluff and Wichita, Kan.

Phoenix, founded in February 2011, posted 2011 revenues of $2.5 million, and as of June, the company expected to end 2012 with revenues of $16 million, according to Springfield Business Journal archives.
