Council members, city leaders hold town hall meeting

Springfield City Council members John Wylie and Cindy Rushefsky along with a handful of city leaders will meet with the public Nov. 29.

Wylie and Rushefsky are hosting a joint town hall meeting 7–9 p.m. at Brentwood Branch Library Community Room, 2214 Brentwood Blvd. The meeting is intended for residents of Zone 4, which covers central and southeast Springfield, and Zone 2, which covers central and northeast Springfield, but all Springfield residents are welcome.

Several city staff members will attend to answer questions and discuss city issues. City Manager Bob Cumley, Police Chief Lynn Rowe, Assistant Director of Public Works Traffic Engineering Earl Newman, Director of Parks and Recreation Jodie Adams, Economic Development Director Mary Lilly Smith, City Utilities Associate General Manager/Electrical Supply Scott Miller, and Public Information Director Louise Whall are scheduled to attend.
