A Springfield head shop in business since the 1990s is closing its doors.
Cosmic Fish, located at 1445 S. Glenstone Ave. in the Country Club Center, announced its closure plans in a Dec. 29 Facebook post.
"After 30 years, Cosmic Fish has decided to close its doors. Our absolute last day to occupy our space will be Feb. 17 and we will not be ordering any more inventory. When everything is gone, it's gone," the post reads. "It's been a wild ride."
Cosmic Fish, which markets itself with the tagline "cool stuff, cool store," sells pipes, clothes, jewelry, incense and other items.
The fictitious name of The Cosmic Fish is registered with the Missouri secretary of state's office by Eileen-Martin Inc. The latest registration report for Eileen-Martin Inc. names Ronetta Rushing as president.
