Correction

The July 24 story “Park board asks for $50M, five-year referendum” incorrectly stated that Greene County voters approved a 1/8-cent sales tax for parks and recreation improvements in November 2001. The tax was 1/4-cent, as is the proposed parks tax on the Aug. 8 ballot.
