On July 1, Convoy delivered 40,000 pounds of products, including sports drinks, milk, soup, juice, pork and beans, cleaning supplies and toilet paper, to Hancock, N.J. Workers canvassed an eight-mile radius for 13 hours.
Convoy left again on Wednesday for Binghamton, N.Y., with two loads of relief supplies that included food, water, bleach and cleaning supplies.
The Binghamton-Hancock region received 17 inches of rain in a four-day period last week. Much of the area was placed under a boil order, and evacuees were prevented from returning home for several days.
