Convention center garage begins charging for parking

Posted online
Branson’s newest parking garage across from the recently opened convention center began charging Sept. 24, after five months of free parking.

The 500-space garage officially opened in September.

Hilton Hotels, which manages two Hilton hotels in downtown Branson as well as the convention center, manages the garage under an agreement with the city.

Costs

Parking fees are: free for the first 30 minutes; $2 for 30 minutes to two hours; $4 for two to four hours; $6 for four to six hours; and $8 for the maximum daily rate or overnight parking.

A limited number of monthly passes are available to businesses and individuals for $25.

Payments are made at kiosks located at the garage’s pedestrian exits.

About 80 parking spaces at other downtown lots remain free, including those on the upper level of the Reish Parking Garage next to the new garage and the Awbery Parking Lot on Commercial Street.

The bottom two floors of the Reish garage are private valet parking for customers of the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel.
