Construction.com, a comprehensive online marketplace for construction professionals and part of The McGraw-Hill Companies, July 18 announced the launch of Dodge e-Leads, the first Internet database of local and national projects designed specifically to help contractors find new business opportunities.
Dodge e-Leads allows construction professionals to search a database of more than 500,000 projects valued at more than $1 trillion from any Internet browser.
Using the Internet tool, contractors can filter data, pre-qualify leads, track jobs, manage opportunities and create bids, according to a Construction.com press release.
"The launch of Dodge e-Leads will transform the way small contractors do business by giving them, for the first time, the ability to uncover, track and bid on the local construction jobs faster and easier," said Norbert W. Young Jr., FAIA, president of Construction.com, in the release. "E-Leads allows these contractors to find the projects that make sense for their business and only pay for the information they want," .
Content for Dodge e-Leads is provided by F.W. Dodge, the industry's most comprehensive source of construction project information available for more than 100 years.
The results of each e-Lead query are provided free of charge. The results contain information on area projects including information such as issue date, project type, valuation and the state and county in which the project is taking place.
Access to additional information, such as the owner, architect, etc., will be provided for a fee.
