The Wendy’s will be in front of Lowe’s on U.S. Highway 60, according to a news release. It is slated to open in the fall.
About 35 people will be employed at the restaurant, which will feature the chain’s newer dining room design that offers a café feel and drink station. The project architect is Baron Design & Associates LLC.
Franchisees Sam and June Hamra own Wendy’s of Missouri under the Springfield-based umbrella corporation Hamra Enterprises. They operate 26 other Wendy's locations throughout the state.
