Steel is coming out of the ground for O’Reilly Hospitality III LLC’s stand-alone Houlihan’s restaurant, which will be the second Houlihan’s in Springfield. The single-story eatery’s exterior finish will include wood, stucco and stone, said Project Manager David Ross. The 7,000-square-foot, full service restaurant and bar is designed to become Springfield’s first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified restaurant, Ross said. Green features include a geothermal mechanical system and solar power, he added. Completion is slated for the fall.
