Construction begins on largest industrial building in KC

NorthPoint Development announced yesterday it started construction on what will be the Kansas City metropolitan area's largest industrial building.

At 952,956 square feet, the building would surpass the current largest industrial building: a 822,177-square-foot facility at Logistics Park Kansas City. The new building is being constructed in the same park.

Officials say the new building is a speculative facility with no specific tenant in mind.
