James H. Drew Corporation is the contractor on this project at the entrance of Republic's new Wal-Mart Supercenter at highways 60 and 174.
The job, which must meet Missouri Department of Trans-portation specifications, includes the addition of a signal pole, two streetlights and three signal heads, according to Drew Superintendent Randy Cherry. Wal-Mart had the intersection modified to give access to the store lot, adding right and left turn lanes from Highway 60. Pictured are Chad Estes (background) and Larry Lindsay of Drew Corp. Drew is based in Indianapolis and operates in Missouri from an office in Sedalia. Upon completion of the work, the highway department will maintain the intersection and signals.
