Construction Around Town: Peoples Bank of the Ozarks

Peoples Bank of the Ozarks is constructing its second full-service branch in Nixa, where it has its corporate headquarters. The $400,000 facility is scheduled for completion in January 2003. A staff of about 10 employees will run the bank, said Heather Strahl, the bank's director of marketing. The general contractor for the 2,700-square-foot structure is Morelock-Ross Properties. Slone Architects designed it. Peoples Bank of the Ozarks, established in 1917, has more than 150 associates, $214.6 million in total assets and about 30,000 customer accounts. Its headquarters are at 204 Village Center, Nixa. Other locations are in Lake of the Ozarks, Rogersville, Fordland, Springfield, Clever and Forsyth.|ret||ret||tab|
