Metro Credit Union's new location, opposite the Campbell 16 Cine, is under construction by Stoddard Development Company. The 6,850-square-foot facility, scheduled for an October opening, is two stories with three drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM. Kent Smith is the architect on the credit union, which is valued at approximately $605,000.
Metro Credit Union has 8,700 members, a large percentage of whom live in proximity to the new location. Susan Kuhl, director of marketing for Metro, said the credit union will be adding staff in the future and sending some of its experienced associates to start the new location.
