Donnie Crawford is the general contractor for the new Logan-Rogersville high school, and Chris Ball of Jack Ball & Associates is the architect. Mechanical, plumbing and civil engineering is by HBH Engineers of Republic. LaRose-Schober of Springfield is the electrical engineer and Walter P. Moore of Kansas City is the structural engineer. The estimated cost of the project is $13.44 million, which includes the new high school and air conditioning for all other existing facilities. The 185,000-square-foot high school, designed with the community in mind, will feature two floors, wider hallways, bigger classrooms, technology labs and room to accommodate a growing student population.
The scheduled completion date is fall 2004. The construction is being financed by a $14.9 million bond issue.
