Construction Around Town: Law Offices of Dee Wampler

Tight quarters at attorney Dee Wampler's 3,000-square-foot office at 1200 W. Woodhurst Drive have prompted this construction of new office space.

Contractor Howard Bailey Co. is building 7,100 square feet on two floors, valued at $1 million. The office will be "a mix between a Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie Style and a Craftsman style," according to Scott Sloan, project architect for Slone Architects Inc. The structure will have three law offices, three secretarial stations, a law library, a conference room and a reception area. A 2,900-square-foot basement will be unfinished to accommodate a future tenant.

The office for Wampler and attorney Joe Passanise is scheduled to be complete by spring.
