Construction Around Town: Drury University's Sigma Pi House

This new fraternity house is part of Drury's College Park housing community. It is a joint project between the architectural firms of Rosemann & Associates of St. Louis and local firm John Oke-Thomas & Associates, with Bales Construction Co. as the general contractor.

The $1.4 million cost of the house was funded with $416,880 raised by the fraternity and nearly $1 million contributed by Drury University.

The anticipated completion date is February 2003. The house has 10,060 square feet of space. It has 12 bedrooms with space for 28 students. The house also has an apartment for the house director, a large meeting room, chapter room, kitchen, study room/library, TV room, second-floor balcony and front and back verandas.
