Work continues on the Boys |amp| Girls Club's new northside facility. Designed by Slone Architects Inc., the $4.5 million project comprises 39,000 square feet, including a learning center, technology center, game room, art room, music center, gym with bleachers, kitchen with attached meeting room and teen center, as well as administrative offices. Named for former Boys |amp| Girls Club Executive Director Bill Stalnaker, the new unit will replace the overcrowded Kynion Unit at 1381 E. Division St. Morelock-Ross Builders is the general contractor on the project, which has an estimated completion date of March 2003.
