Owners/developers Mike and Angela Childers' new 15,000-square-foot wood-and-stucco structure for SS & B Heating and Cooling is close to completion, according to Mike Childers. Rich Kramer Construction is the general contractor and Chamberlain Architects is the architect. LaRose & Schober Engineering is the engineer. The estimated construction cost for the project is $700,000, and the lender is Wood & Huston Bank. Mike Childers said this is the fourth location for SS & B Heating and Cooling, which has outgrown its three previous locations and needed to expand to accommodate that growth. The Childers already are considering further expansion for the business, which handles sales, installation and service of heating and cooling systems.
