Construction and Design: South Pointe Plaza

Located just across from the Welk Theater, this multitenant strip retail center will have approximately 9,000 square feet. Missouri Partners Inc. is the general contractor for this project, owned by Steve Redford. According to Bob Allen, executive vice president of Missouri Partners Inc., the architect is Allen Johnson of General Design, and the engineer is Mesa Engineering, with Mike Stalzer as lead engineer. Both General Design and Mesa are Branson firms, he said. The center will house five tenants, and the lease price will average $12 per square foot. Allen declined to provide an estimated construction cost for the project. He said the location of the center, with its proximity to hotels and condominiums, makes it a good spot.
