Pizza Ventures is the owner/developer of this 5,800-square-foot project that will house KFC in one half and Rib Crib in the other. Royal Construction is the general contractor and Buddy Webb and Co. is the architect. J.S. Smith Consulting Engineers is the structural engineer; HBH Engineers is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer; and Anderson Engineering Inc. is the civil engineer. The estimated construction cost for the project is $700,000. The estimated completion date is Sept. 1. KFC's side of the structure will be mostly stucco, and it will have a drive-through. Rib Crib's portion of the building will be mostly wood, according to Royal Construction and Buddy Webb.
