Wehr Properties is the owner/developer of this 12,500-square-foot structure, and Wehr Construction is the general contractor. Marshall-Waters-Woody Associates is the architect, and Smith-Goth Engineers and JS Smith Consulting Engineers are the engineers. The estimated construction cost is $1.2 million, and the lender is Commerce Bank. The pre-engineered metal office building, which has an estimated Nov. 1 completion date, will have a king-size brick and glass faade. Wehr Properties will lease the building to A.G. Edwards & Sons. According to Bill Gates, project manager for Wehr Construction, A.G. Edwards plans to move from its office at 1625 E. Primrose. Gates said the single-story structure will look similar to the Wehr Properties-owned office next door, which houses Prudential and Merrill Lynch. |ret||ret||tab|
