Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, at 1935 S. Campbell, is adding a new facade and a new entryway opening to a 3,000-square-foot lobby which features a three-story fireplace. The new entrance, constructed of massive log and rock work, is similar to the one on Bass Pro's new Outdoor World location in the Chicago suburb of Gurnee, Ill., according to Bass Pro spokesman Larry Whiteley. MECO Systems is the contractor for the project, which was designed by Bass Pro's architectural department. A late spring to early summer completion date is hoped for, Whiteley added.
