Boys' and Girls' Town of Missouri is adding four new residential cottages to its Springfield campus, in addition to a complete recreational complex with a gymnasium and swimming pool, and a new chapel. DeWitt & Associates is acting as contractor on the project, and JPS & Associates is the architect. The cottages are expected to be complete this summer, with the rest of the new construction being done in the fall. Boys and Girls Town also plans to renovate its existing facilities, including office space and emergency shelter. The project cost is $3.5 million, and the organization still needs approximately $200,000 to complete the renovation. Boys and Girls Town began fund raising for the project a year and a half ago, and construction began a year ago.
