ConocoPhillips to cut 6% of workforce

ConocoPhillips, one of the largest U.S. shale producers, is cutting another 6 percent of its workforce.

That equates to roughly 1,000 employees that will lose their jobs this year.

Since September 2014, the company has cut 3,400 jobs, or about 18 percent of its total workforce.
